한국 시인 윤동주와 일제강점기 한국의 복합적인 문화적 풍경에서 출발한 프로젝트입니다. 한국 전통 복식, 일본식 제복, 서구식 테일러링이 공존하던 시대를 바탕으로, 옷을 통해 정체성의 긴장과 조용한 저항의 태도를 풀어냈습니다. 직접적인 힘보다는 절제, 취약함, 내면의 신념에 주목했으며, 제목은 사유와 언어, 인내로 저항한 이들을 뜻합니다.
This is inspired by the Korean poet Yun Dong-ju and the layered cultural landscape of Korea under Japanese occupation. The project draws from the coexistence of traditional Korean dress, Japanese uniforms, and Western tailoring, using clothing as a way to reflect identity, tension, and quiet resistance. Rather than focusing on overt power, it explores restraint, vulnerability, and inner conviction. The title refers to those who resisted through thought, language, and endurance.
